Rub-on adhesive Halloween icons – by Studio G
Pencil, scissors, assorted paper punches, paper trimmer, chenille stems, ribbon, rhinestones, paint brush, piercing tool, ruler and sand paper.
Instructions:
1. Remove one end from three empty ribbon spools. Sand edges if necessary. Paint top and bottom edges, let dry. Measure and cut scrapbook paper to fit and adhere with Ultra Clear, overlapping edges.
2. Measure and cut four strips 12″ by 2″. Fan fold both pieces and attach with ultra clear 1/8″ to form a tube. Adhere ultra clear 1/2″ to bottom of large spool, peel back liner paper then gather and push down to create a rosette base. (Squeeze a line of 3D Glue around base of small spool then sprinkle with threading beads then glitter from the sparkles bonus pack silver, let dry.
3. Apply adhesive rub-ons to different scrapbook papers. Cover with shiny foil sheets in black and orange (with colored side up), burnish gently with finger, then peel back at corner. Punch out images. Line up punched shapes using the Layer Plus Tool to create perfectly centered layers. Attach with Foam Tape in Black. Punch holes in tags and embellish with rhinestones.
4. Line up Layer Plus Tool along side of spool and mark with piercing tool. Punch holes in sides of each spool with Crop-a-Dile. Create handles by threading chenille stems through holes. Tie tags onto handles with ribbons. Attach scallop medallion to front of large spool with Ultra Clear 1/2″.
5. Fill with candy and give, give, give!

This is so clever, Beth! What a great way to save the empty ribbon spools! Fabulous!
